first Davis Square farmers' market and last Armory market are this week

The Davis Square farmers' market opens its season this Wednesday, May 23, from noon to 6 pm. The market usually operates until Thanksgiving.

The last 'Winter' indoor market at the Armory will be this Saturday, May 26, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. The Union Square outdoor market reopens next Saturday, June 2.

Hooray! I was wondering when the Davis Square market would start, it always seems to begin on some unspecified Wednesday BEFORE June. :)

Me too. But this early in the season, we can't expect to see many fresh fruits or vegetables.

I wandered down to central square today, and they had mainly plants and flowers, plus bread/meat/fish. I expect Davis will be the same, although I would have hoped that with such an early spring we might be treated to some greenhouse strawberries or at least a few stalls with bunches of lettuce. Central tends to have more produce later in the season, but maybe Enterprise will be there with greens in Davis?
