I am watching the Celtics vs. Heat.  My Comcast TV screen is spotty.  Does anyone have signal problems with their Comcast service now?

for what it's worth, ESPN3 was streaming it free online.

Wish I'd known that! Are they doing this for every Celtics playoff game?

It looks to me that they will stream every Eastern Conference finals game. One catch is that to stream it, you need to get cable from one of their approved "providers," but that includes Comcast, RCN, and Verizon FIOS.

Thanks. Unfortunately, your second sentence makes it useless to me.

Here's the full list of providers (http://espn.go.com/espn3/affList).

Ron-- How do you get your internet? I get ESPN3 provided because I get Verizon DSL, even though I don't have cable TV.

I have what used to be called Galaxy DSL but is now DSL Extreme. I did not know that this was a benefit of using Verizon DSL.

It's one of those recent changes that I just kind of discovered one day. I've been pleasantly surprised with all the content I get on ESPN3 -- last year's Women's World Cup Soccer, for example, and the Cotton Bowl. I haven't watched the Celtics yet, but probably will catch a game or two online.

Looks like I do have access to ESPN3 after all, just by logging into my Verizon.com account. Cool.

Sorry, when I said you needed to get "cable" from one of the providers, I didn't mean cable television channels. It is sufficient to have an Internet subscription through one of them. I cut cable TV myself but have RCN as my ISP, so I was able to stream.
