Daddy Jones Bar Now Open!

Happy Sunday,

I just wanted to spread the word that Daddy Jones Bar (525 Medford Street/Magoun Square) is now open for business Tuesday through Sunday, 5pm to 1am with the kitchen closing at 10pm.

The owner, Dimitra Tsouranis, is Somerville-born and a new addition to the Board of Directors for Somerville Local First.

Dimitra Tsourianis? That just has to be the daughter of my landlord from ages ago when I was living in Somerville. Good grief. She can't be that old yet.

I wonder if that's why the municipal parking lot at the CVS was really full last weekend. (I mean, every parking space was gone, I had to double park so I could run and pick up my prescription)
