Somehow I missed the news that Spike's Junkyard Dogs closed their Davis Square location a week ago. [Edit: Or not; my eyes need to be checked. It's this Friday that they're closing.]

I remember reading that Painted Burro was going to be expanding into that space, but didn't realize they were closing so soon...

As someone who grew up around the corner from the original Spike's and now lives 'round these parts, I will be very, very sad to see you go.
