Hello, we are looking for ideas of where to hold a brunch on a Sunday after a Saturday wedding.    Ideally somewhere in the greater Somerville/Cambridge area.    Obviously many of our favorite brunch places are already packed on Sunday mornings and/or don't have an appropriate space for that type of gathering.

Christopher's in Porter rents out the upstairs dining room for parties. Not sure if it is big enough for your party or if they do it for brunch.

Are you looking for a private room, or just enough space for a large group?

S&S in Inman Square does have private rooms, although I don't know if they are available for brunch.

The BEST brunch in town is at Henrietta's table, and it's very festive, and can fit a lot of people. It's not cheap, however, and I don't think they have private rooms.

Depending on your tastes, the Asgard just outside Central Square has a nice semi-private party room space in the back and a fairly sturdy brunch menu (http://www.classicirish.com/asgard-menu.php#brunch).

You might also investigate the lovely Sabur (http://www.saburrestaurant.com/) in Teele Sq, which is not a huge place, but IME they would probably go out of their way to be hospitable to your party.

I definitely second Christopher's as well.

If its during the warmer months, and you are up for a bit of a splurge, the patio at Henrietta's table is great.

I echo chanaleh's suggestion of Sabur. Their brunch is delicious, and unlike a lot of other places, they never seem to be crowded. (But of course you should still call ahead to warn them if you're bringing a crowd.)
