Hello, we are looking for ideas of where to hold a brunch on a Sunday after a Saturday wedding. Ideally somewhere in the greater Somerville/Cambridge area. Obviously many of our favorite brunch places are already packed on Sunday mornings and/or don't have an appropriate space for that type of gathering.

The BEST brunch in town is at Henrietta's table, and it's very festive, and can fit a lot of people. It's not cheap, however, and I don't think they have private rooms.

I definitely second Christopher's as well.

Both validate parking at the University Garage.

Date: 2013-03-28 01:29 am (UTC)I have to say, though, that every post-wedding brunch I've attended has been at the hotel where the majority of out-of-town guests are staying. If you don't have out-of-town guests or aren't reserving a block of rooms, that changes things, but I do think there's something to be said for being able to stumble downstairs the next morning and have brunch right there, especially on a Sunday when a lot of people have to leave to get home. I've actually never attended a brunch for a local wedding and think of it as an event that people tend to have for out-of-town guests. Food for thought, I guess (no pun intended).
