PDF scans of lawsuit against Deb Filcman, Ron Newman, and John and Jane Does 1-100

[continuing the discussion that started here: Help! I am being sued for my participation in davis_square ]

I have placed on Dropbox a scan of the Amended Complaint that I was served with yesterday afternoon.

Here's a list of username handles mentioned in the lawsuit: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/d231f81633d2a4163536 . Most are from LJ, but a few are from the Wicked Local/Somerville Journal blog, and one is from journalfen.com .

Someone also found the original complaint in a court database. (I was never served with this one.)

The amended complaint has hundreds of pages of attached exhibits, which I did NOT scan in. They are copies of posts and comments to davis_square, davis_snark, sf_drama, discussions at journalfen.com, blog posts and comments at Wicked Local Somerville (Somerville Journal), Encyclopedia Dramatica article, etc.

He seems to be contacting virtually everyone involved in the comment threads in question, regardless of what they actually said. I reviewed the thread cited in the letter I received, and it looks like I only made one comment, idly observing that it's generally a GOOD thing we don't tar and feather people and run them out of town anymore, but there are exceptions to that rule. I didn't even really call him out in the comment, but if pressed, I don't really plan to quibble over that point.

What I said is not defamation. It's not even, by any stretch of the imagination, any kind of remotely credible threat. It's personal expression, protected by the First Amendment, and I won't delete it for the sake of his precious feelings. This case is, in my view, going to go down in history as the dictionary definition of a frivolous lawsuit, and I personally see it as nothing more than an attempt to bully the entire community and cow us into silence.

I agree - I said nothing that could even be remotely considered defamatory, and I will not be bullied.
