If anyone hasn't seen Jim's Big Ego live, I'd definately recommend seeing them. They're playing this thursday at Johnny D's. Any other jim fans out there? :)

if you haven't already, i suggest you get on their mailing list. i've seen jim a zillion times since last december, and he's played in a bunch of great venues. one that was particularly enjoyable for me was his month-long stint (every wednesday in june 2002) at kendall cafe. it was hot and crowded, but here too the seating was separate enough from the bar (and so close to the stage i could have reached out and grabbed his ass). and he played at capo's in lowell, which was a decent folk venue. there are still some pretty good shows going on. don't miss any more!

Yeah, I do miss seeing Jim, I should probably get back into the habit. I went to all of the shows titanic was recorded at (some of his best shows ever, IMO), and I once even co-hosted a Jim Infantino house concert... and now I haven't seen him perform at all for a year.

Are you going to this Thursday's show?
