Nature walk this Sunday
Sep. 11th, 2013 06:18 pmI'm a local field naturalist, and I'm running a short nature hike on Sunday, Sept 15 from 1-2:30 pm. The theme is Bike Path Botany! Have you ever wondered what's growing in your neighborhood? We'll wander the bike path and hear some interesting and peculiar facts about local plants. Beginners & non-botanists are welcome - you won't have any trouble keeping up. Meet in Davis Square at the Holland St. T entrance.

Wild Urban Plants of the Northeast: A Field Guide -- Peter del Tredici
The Nature of Massachusetts -- published by Massachusetts Audubon Society
Deerland: America's Hunt for Ecological Balance and the Essence of Wildness -- Al Cambronne
