Hi
Would you please pass this info along to anyone you know that might be interested in moving to Davis? We have a residential condo for sale that comes with a small carriage house that can be used as an office for a doctor, lawyer, etc (or even additional living space as it also has a full bath and kitchenette) Both units gutted to the studs three years ago and are in perfect condition.  Here is the craigslist ad----thanks

Why don't you post it on MLS? It costs couple hundred bucks but it will be listed in a major real estate database which is used by all applications that potential buyers use to search for listings. It doesn't appear to be listed now.

I would definitely list this on MLS, I don't think a lot of serious home buyers are looking on craigslist nowadays.

About a decade ago, I used isoldmyhouse.com with a flat fee to sell my condo. I also paid a few hundred dollars for an appraisal by a professional. By underpricing my property by less than the commission would have cost me, it sold very quickly (much faster than the comparable properties nearby) and I ended up with more money than I otherwise would have (and more money than my neighbors likely got after paying the commissions, even if they'd gotten their asking price). I don't know if they're still in business, but if they are, I recommend them. If not, there may be other options for getting your property in the MLS for less than the usual 6%.

I don't know what your timeframe is, but in a seller's market like we have now, you should have no problem selling on your own in a fairly short time.

You've listed the property as $729 not $729,000.

Since CL allows price-range based searching (as does MLS) and setting a price floor is a standard means canny buyers use to wade through the tons of too-good-to-be-true real estate scams, you've just guaranteed nobody will see your ad who can afford it.
