Opportunity to take over our lease at below market rent for a 2 bed in Davis Square area! Under 10 minutes walk to the T and Davis Square, 2 minute walk to Magnificent Muffin and Teele Square.

This unit has hardwood floors throughout, two equally sized large bedrooms, an eat in kitchen with gas stove and dishwasher, pantry, dining room and large living room with pocket doors. The shared basement includes a designated storage space and a washer and dryer. Apartment has a shared front and back porch and ample backyard for cookouts or bocce games.

The apartment comes with the rights to the driveway which can hold up to 4 cars.

Rent is $2040 per month (not including gas and electric) and you would be taking over a lease that runs until August 31st 2014. We have lived here for 3.5 years and love it. However, we recently purchased our own home and need to move as soon as possible. The apartment is available March 1 and potentially a few days earlier. Cats are negotiable with the landlord.

I might add that the 2 animals are very different but in some situations can have the same impact on a home. I am saying it might not hurt to ask the owner regarding the dog; as an owner I would opt for an ideal tenant with a dog rather than less desirable one without.
