Looking for efficiency/studio/1BR for summer sublet

When do people tend to be interested in talking summer sublets? Anybody know of one that needs a tenant for the summer?

If you mean when is the start date for a summer sublet, I would guess it's usually 6/1.

If you mean when are they generally posted on Craigslist, I would say anywhere from a month and a half beforehand, up until the very day the sublet starts.

We were looking for a subletter for 2/1 and posted it on CL on 12/15, and didn't find a serious taker until a week before move-in.
