Medford Shaw's closing - Locust St across from Meadow Glen Mall

The Shaw's supermarket on Locust Street in Medford, across from Meadow Glen Mall, is closing by February 20.
ETA 2/12: today the store has a LAST 5 DAYS sign, so the real clsoing day may be February 16.

When I stopped by this store early on a Friday evening a week and a half ago, the place was deserted and the liquidation-sale prices weren't especially great. But the sale may be better now. Has anyone shopped there lately?

When the Davis Square McDonald's closed at the end of last October, the franchisee put up a sign directing customers to his other stores at Meadow Glen and Fresh Pond. Wonder if the Fresh Pond McD's is closing too?
