i am teaching aikido classes now on sundays, noon to 1, at esh circus arts (now located in somerville at 44 park street. all levels welcome! classes are $15 each.

What ages are appropriate for beginner aikido? My daughter just turned five, and has done a couple of months of shotokan (which she liked, but took a break from in favor of swimming, which was at the same time); would kids that young be a good fit for this class?

honestly i'm not sure, and it probably depends on the kid -- the youngest we've had in my class was i think eleven, and she did great. would you be planning to practice along with your daughter?
