If, for any reason, you haven't had the gingered goat cheese they sell at the farmers' market, go fix that. (Well, OK, you will have to wait another week.) Mmmm. Drool.
Anything else everyone absolutely ought to try there?

Date: 2005-08-18 12:52 pm (UTC)There's also always your lunch break. Back when I had a job, I used to go to the farmer's market right when it opened at lunch time. Yum, fresh fruit and veggies for lunch!

Date: 2005-08-18 01:08 pm (UTC)Sorry, sore spot.
Anyway, as for 9-5...I dunno; I think that's traditional but I don't think most people do it. Especially in a techie-heavy place like Davis I think most people start later, end later. And I think even people working relatively traditional hours are likely to work a bit later (9-5 isn't an 8-hour day after you've taken that lunch break), and then with traffic and so forth you might not get *home* from that job in time to go to the farmers' market, or if you do they're closing.
Like your icon, though.

Date: 2005-08-18 04:47 pm (UTC)If you google for "massachusetts farmers markets" or something like that, actually, you should get a list of all of them. But I can't guarantee the others will have The Goat Cheese :).
