If, for any reason, you haven't had the gingered goat cheese they sell at the farmers' market, go fix that. (Well, OK, you will have to wait another week.) Mmmm. Drool.

Anything else everyone absolutely ought to try there?

At the stand nearest the street, they sell a kind of basil (Genovese, I think) that's labelled as the best basil for pesto. And yes, indeed it is.

Is that also known as "the farmer's market open only while many of their prospective customers are at work" or am I confusing them with someone totally clueless?

You're confusing them with someone who isn't open until 6:30pm. I suppose many of their prospective customers work until 6:30 or later, but then again, I don't think you could name a time that it's not the case that many prospective customers are working.

Don't most people work 9-5?

There's also always your lunch break. Back when I had a job, I used to go to the farmer's market right when it opened at lunch time. Yum, fresh fruit and veggies for lunch!

Yeah, just an extension until 7 would be more helpful. And actually arlington center might also be more helpful. What day is that one?

That's okay, gingered goat cheese sounds to me only vaguely preferable to a sandpaper and onion sandwich. To each their own.

No, seriously, looks freakish, tastes heavenly. I've been buying it in Arlington.
