Somerville Illuminations Tour will be Saturday 12/13; tickets on sale Sunday 11/30

The Somerville Arts Council's annual Illuminations Trolley Tour will take place on Saturday, December 13. This is a guided tour of festively decorated houses throughout the city. As in recent years, there will be both an East and a West trolley route.

Tickets go on sale at Blue Cloud Gallery in Ball Square, starting on Sunday, November 30. Full details on trolley times and ticket sales are on this page. These tickets often sell out within a week.

The Somerville Bicycle Committee will also hold its annual Illuminations Bicycle Tour the same night. Meet at 5:50 pm in front of Somerville High School, departing promptly at 6 pm.

"Often sell out within a week" is a major understatement this year. At 4pm on Sunday, the only tickets left were for the 8:45 and 9:15 tours; the other thirteen tours were entirely sold out. There was reportedly a hour-plus long line when Blue Cloud opened this morning.
