house cleaners?

anyone have recommendations for house cleaners? I have a Brazilian couple who come in every other week for $60. and they are really nice but they don't speak English and trivial things are starting to become major things because of the language barrier. I'm not going to bail yet but I thought I would look around (their son speaks English so I am hoping to resolve these stupid things). So... 4 rooms. twice a month. What are the going rates?

When I lived in Medford with housemates, we used Storck & Storck. We were very happy with them. Rate was $60/visit for a 3br house but that was 5 years ago.

I highly recommend AA Environmentally Safe Cleaning (http://www.aaclean.com/). I believe they are Brazilian-run but they speak excellent English. They use all environmentally-friendly products (think Bread and Circus-type products), are very thorough, reasonably priced and fair. They came to clean my house in Waltham a few times a few years ago. They had estimated about 3 hours to do the first cleaning but grossly underestimated (my house was *covered* in cat fur and hadn't been cleaned in longer than I like to admit). It took them something like 7 hours for 3 of them, but they insisted on only charging me what they'd originally quoted. The results were far more thorough than I'd expected.

Could I ask you for reference to your brazilian couple? I use service of a Brazilian woman (who has a cleanign agency), but they charge me $50/visit twice a month (for a 1 bedroom place), and do a very poor job. So I will be happy to swtich. Thanks!

Their son Vinny answers the phone and it takes him a minute to kick into "business mode" but he's cool and helpful (I spoke with him about the minor things that were bugging me and they've been resolved).
