More Street Sweeping!

If you are one of those second-and-fourth Thursday people (whose street doesn’t get swept on Thanksgiving), good news! The city is going to sweep your street on the Monday after Thanksgiving.  Yay! But don’t forget to move your car!

That's nice, but I'll bet most people affected by this don't read either the city website or DSLJ. A lot of folks will be very unhappy to get ticketed for this, especially if they're still out of town that day.

As mentioned below, the city usually doesn't ticket when they sweep outside the regular schedule. It's not worth the hassle and probably would raise legal concerns if they didn't provide proper notice.
