CVS has changed their pricing when items are on sale. I bought one bottle of shampoo on sale 2for$12 and paid the full regular price. Under the new policy, according to the salesperson, if it is two for a price you must buy two to get sale price.

The CVS at South Station now has stickers on the shelves when deals apply - they explicitly say "Must Buy 2." Guessing there's probably an initiative from the top to make it clear that you only get the nice price when you buy in bulk.
