Oat Shop Coming to Davis Square

In what sounds a bit like a hipster joke, a restaurant that specializes in oatmeal is scheduled to open this fall in an undisclosed Davis Sq. location.

Hey, if it's as good as either Johnny D's or the Neighborhood's, they'll get business :) Plus, there's always "overnight oats," which, if I understand correctly, can be served and eaten cold. I, uh, may spend way too much time on Pinterest.

If their oatmeal is as good as Johnny D's, i would totally go visit Oat Shop. Plus, variety is nice and I try not to stuff my fridge with ingredients that I can't use up fast enough.

(I hate overnight oats. I have eaten it cold and it's like eating glue. Pinterest lies!)

Different strokes. I love overnight oatmeal, with greek yogurt and various different fruits depending on my mood and what's available.

Neighborhood's is cream of wheat, not oatmeal.
