Davis Square Donuts & Bagels will not open

Eater.com reports that "Plans for Davis Square Donuts and Bagels have been scrapped and the space appears to be up for lease with items in the store covered in plastic wrap." The shop was supposed to open in the Community Credit Union building, next to the Rosebud.

I noticed the new FOR LEASE signs in the window a few days ago, but wasn't sure what its status was. I wonder if OPA! isn't doing as well as expected.

It's a bad space for such a business so I am not surprised.
