Davis Square Donuts & Bagels will not open

Eater.com reports that "Plans for Davis Square Donuts and Bagels have been scrapped and the space appears to be up for lease with items in the store covered in plastic wrap." The shop was supposed to open in the Community Credit Union building, next to the Rosebud.

RIP Stephanie Clarkson, thespian here on LJ

I am sorry to report that long-time DSLJ participant Stephanie Clarkson, who used the LJ handle thespian, died this morning (Tuesday, July 19) at Mount Auburn Hospital after a long illness. She was loved by many of us here, and she died much, much too young.
