Hi all, the Leonid meteor shower is ongoing, with peak viewing expected to be Thursday night into Friday morning. For any people into this kind of thing, where do you suggest going to view? Obviously we need to get away from the city, but does anyone have a favorite spot? Thanks!

Date: 2016-08-11 07:13 pm (UTC)We identified friends of friends who have a farm out in billerica, and we're going to try to view from there. Otherwise, Plum Island looked like the best bet for a nice view and not too crazy far away.
We've watched from Moore State Park, in Paxton, many years ago, and that was a great place to watch, but a little further than we want to go with two little ones and work the next day!
