Parking Options When Away for a Couple of Weeks

Me and my girlfriend own 2 cars one of which has a designated spot and the other we park on the street. Say we are planning a 2 week vacation, wondering what would be my best options to park the extra car. Parking at the airport can quickly add up to $138 for a week. Or we could could just leave it on the sidewalk and eat the $50 fine for street sweeping assuming they are not towing it. What do you folks do?

I hope you don't really mean that you would park the car on the sidewalk.
