Supposing a person were terrified of dentists, and very timidly just
wanted to have clean teeth...

Can anyone recommend a very gentle reassuring dentist in the
area?

There must be somebody who specializes in dentist phobia.

There's some dentist with radio ads who says he will drug you to make it easier for you. I don't remember any info beyond that.
