pea plants -- free to a good garden!

Hi all! I have a bunch of baby pea plants (~8" high) in need of a trellis. I know it's late in the season, but I just thought I'd put it out there!

Are they snow peas or snap peas or shell peas? (Do you eat the pods or not?)

We have lots of peas where you do not eat the pod, but would happily adopt some with edible pods.

Alas, I threw away the seed packet, but there are tiny pods growing. If I take a pic would you be able to tell?

I can tell when the peas are ready to harvest, but would not swear with any certainty about immature pods.

Eh, whatever, we have the space. Worst thing that'll happen is that we have even more shell peas.
