Is there a way to search through past entries on the community? I am specifically looking for a thread about MBTA musicians that I *think* I saw posted here months ago. I am looking for information on a man with a guitar who plays beautiful music in a language that is not English (although i've only heard the same 2 or 3 songs)that plays Davis most mornings, although I have heard him sometimes in Harvard. I am pretty sure people mentioned him before...

I've had several people approach me about adding tags/memories. I have put it off in favor of other projects. I've had offers from members to do it for me, but I've not taken them up because I'd have to give maintainer status to anyone who would help in such a way. At this point however, if I found the right person to do it, it could be done. It would need to be someone with enough of a open history on LiveJournal and the Davis Square area that I wouldn't worry about them stealing or running amok with the community.

Another alternative is that you could at least temporarily make it so that anyone (or anyone in the community) could add tags, and ask that whoever has time go back through old entries and add some tags. It would be less work if it were a group effort, and you don't have to be a maintainer to add tags if permissions are set up right.

Well, here's another offer. I'd love to help just based on the idea of originating a keyword scheme (am in library school) and have no interest whatsoever in stealing and/or running amok. Or actually retaining maintainership once the bulk of the work was completed, if you prefer.

I will add you to the 'tag team', which I think lets you add and edit tags on posts that are not your own. You don't have to do anything at all about this until you return.
