For those of us on the other side of the border: The Cambridge Police Review and Advisory Board has a vacancy.

This is the civilian body which reviews findings in complaints against the police.

This is potentially a tremendous opportunity for a Cambridge resident who cares about justice in policing to get involved at the local level, here in our community.

Five year term, no pay, typically one evening a month (last Weds).

I'd do it myself, but haven't the spare spoons.

May I ask how you heard about this? I sometimes find out about board vacancies and sometimes don't, and it always feels pretty random.
