Quizno's finally came up for a vote at last Thursday's Planning Board meeting. I get their minutes e-mailed to me each week, and they say that the board "voted unanimously (4-0) to allow the Applicant to withdraw without prejudice."

I think this means that the applicant, after hearing unanimous disapproval at last month's Davis Square Task Force meeting, decided to withdraw his application. "Without prejudice" means that this is a non-decision, and the applicant can reapply at a later time.

How do you get their minutes emailed to you? Can anyone do that, or do you have to be involved somehow?

I'm not sure how I got on the list, but the person who sends them to me is Lara Curtis <lcurtis@ci.somerville.ma.us>. She is a land use planner in the city's Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development . If you write to her, she should add you to the list.
