New pet help :)

Hi there. I went to Easter dinner with my boyfriend's family yesterday and came home with a very sweet kitty addition to our family :)

We rescued an abandoned kitty that my boyfriend's sister was feeding and taking care of. He was apparently left out in the woods with 2 other cats (who she was also seeking a home for).

Anyway, I've made a vet's appt for him tomorrow at Porter Square Veterinary, but was curious as to the whole licensing thing. I looked on the City of Somerville page, but couldn't find anything and the search web page isn't loading for me.

Do I need to register/license him through the city? I googled and could only find information on neighboring cities.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hehehe our cat is already displaying quirky behavior...i don't think he needs help there...

actually, he's the most well adjusted cat EVER...he didn't cry on the 40 minute car ride home...well he cried maybe twice, but the rest of the time he just was napping or lounging...

then we got him to the house and let him out...he walked around and then jumped up and sat on the couch with me purring.

he's the best!

and we gave him catnip and he sniffed it and sneezed.

and it was super cute

and that's what i did on summer vacation.
