highland cleaners

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had ever used the laundromat on Highland Ave. (right next to the gas station) for their dry-cleaning? I use them for regular laundry and also have had pants tailored there with wonderful results. I see that their sign says that they do dry-cleaning, as well. Are they as good at that as everything else? :-) Also, what are their rates? I have probably 5-8 sweaters and 2 wool coats to clean -- yay for spring cleaning!

I have. Cash only. Very slow. Don't remember the rates being exceptionally high.

it cost me $8 and took about 5 days, but I wasn't in any kind of a hurry for them. I like the people who run it, they're always so happy and nice when I go in there :)

I have never had laundromat owners smile to me as much as they do, every time that I go there. This is good news, that they do dry cleaning - I certainly want to give them my business, just for being such gentle, happy folks.

I just had 2 sweaters, a shirt, and a skirt dry cleaned there and it was $15.75. I dropped it off on a monday and it was ready friday, though I'm sure they would have been able to have it sooner if I asked (I knew my lazy self would not pick it up for at least 2 or 3 weeks so didn't bother). The woman was really nice, the only problem I have is that it's cash only and I barely ever have cash. Just be prepared :-)

I used to use the dry cleaner's on Broadway in Teele Square when I lived closer (I moved 10 months ago) and found them to be actually pretty quick and reasonably priced.
