Fireworks next Thursday, 6/29

The city will have its annual (pre-)Fourth of July celebration next Thursday, June 29, at Trum Field. Musical entertainment will start at 6:30 pm, with fireworks to follow at 9:15. Trum Field is at Cedar Street and Broadway.

Thanks for the article link--the street closings look like a good thing to know about, and I would never have guessed that that was going to happen.

I e-mailed the mayor's office, and got back a message from the mayor himself, promising to put a notice on the city web site tomorrow morning.
