On slashed tires
Jul. 4th, 2006 11:50 amA big shout out and thank you to the individual who slashed my car's tire last night. Not only did you slash mine, but you slashed my girlfriend's roommate's, as well as at least 4 other cars' on Holland St.
What a great way to spend my holiday. Calling in police reports, waiting for AAA, trying to determine if my insurance actually covers tire slashings, figuring out where to buy new tires on the cheap. Life is grand.
I hope that sometime in the very near future I get to show you my appreciation in person.

Date: 2006-07-04 06:44 pm (UTC)My tires were slashed at half life, approx 30,000, so they would only pay around $300 for the four when they are valued at over $600.
When I was in MI any thing that happens to your vehicle when you are not in it. e.g. someone hits it and runs, break ins, vandalism, has no deductible. Even better was the fact that if you were in it and got into an accident with another AAA member both deductibles were waived. I only paid around $400/year over there now I'm paying around $2400/year for less service and the same driving record (two tickets, no accidents)
