I've been to Patricia Crawford in Porter Square--she's excellent, and she takes BCBS insurance. I'm currently seeing Cheryl at Union Square Acupuncture (in, guess where? Union Square!) I really like her--she practices Chinese and Japanese techniques and a little massage as well. She does not currently take insurance.
If you're willing to leave Davis Square, I recommend Milissa Gillin in nearby Arlington. I really, really like her...she's understanding, knowledgable, and flexible. You can find her info on this page: http://www.nesa.edu/findma.html
Ching Ling Kung Acupuncture 226 Highland Avenue Somerville, MA 02143-1423 Phone: (617) 591-8688
Ching Ling was the first and only real acupuncturist I've been to, so I can't really compare her to others. However, I can definitely say she was able to relieve my symptoms (fix my problem?) like a charm! I often fell asleep on the table :) I'd definitely recommend her, but I wouldn't call myself an educated consumer.
