Does anyone have recommendations for local renters' insurance providers? I don't have a car, so I don't have an existing insurance agent to go through. Helpful hints or info on rates/good agents/etc. would be awesome.
(If it matters, I'm renting a first-floor apartment between Davis and Ball Squares.)
Thank you so much!

Date: 2006-08-13 08:31 pm (UTC)I have roommates and it doesn't seem to matter. As I understand it, it would cover my stuff but not theirs. Roughly speaking, I think it's about 150 a year for 20k in coverage (forget if it's replacement value or not), and then 100k in liability is added on. If you have high value items like jewelry, fine art, etc... they typically require you to add-on specifically for those.
