Catch n' Release
Aug. 27th, 2006 11:55 amSo I caught my mouse this morning. Cornered it in the pantry, plopped it into a brown bag and escorted it over to the play area on the street off Highland near the Brooks. It made a bee line for the electric blue house (sorry! ;-) that has been for sale for the last year.
So to recap....
...Borax didn't work
...live catch traps from ACE didn't work
...my silly cat refused to work
In the end it was a broom, a now discarded dish towel and my highly developed reaction time (honed recently through a stint of Halo). That mouse didn't stand a chance.
So if you see a rather plump mouse over by the swing set tell him it was not personal, just business...
