Perhaps I am hallucinating, but I have been seeing many series of numbers of numbers written in on the sidewalks in front of shops near Porter and Harvard Square. Has anyone else noticed this? If so, does anyone know their significance?
My second question is: does anyone know where I could find sheet metal, such as aluminum or copper?
Thanks

You can get it at, eg, Home Depot, in 6"x10' rolls in both copper and aluminum. I've used aluminum flashing for a lot of basic crafty tasks, from making engraved door signs to repairing holes in an old charcoal grill. Handle only with gloves, though: The edges are very sharp indeed.
