Cut a couch in half?

And put it back together? I have a 7 foot long couch that I love, but there's no way I can get it into my awkwardly shaped apartment. Anyone have a recommendation for a business that can do this? Also, what would you expect to pay for this kind of service?

Seconded. Cost depends on the brand of couch - mine (a Jennifer Convertible) was only $175.

There is this guy what comes around on garbage night. He can cut thru anything. Wednesday night, Morrison ave., just put the couch out and he'll be by.

they had a crane and took apart one of my windows, and brought it in with the crane, this was 5 years ago, think I paid around $200. Oh, that included putting the window back together too =)
