Apartment Cleaning

Does anyone have a ballpark figure of what a general apartment cleaning for a 2-bedroom apartment in Davis would cost? It's a very small 2-bedroom, and my roomie might not even want his room cleaned. Do the services bring their own vaccuum cleaner? (mine's not operational at the moment, which is why I'm asking about cleaning). I've never done this before.

Check with E and Jo. They have a woman that they love dealing with that might be just what you need!

In fact I believe that same woman estimated $60 per month for cleaning when I talked to her (though my roomies rejected the idea, alas). No idea if she'd bring her own vacuum cleaner, but since she did want me to have a normal set of cleaning supplies on hand when she did my move-out cleaning, I'd guess not. But she did a very good job.

I wouldn't assume about the vacuum cleaner; I keep lots of cleaning supplies for the cleaners I use, and they bring their own vacuum (which is good, since I don't have one).

I think it's $50.

I know, it 's strange I'm not sure, but I've been grandfathered into using a friend's cleaner at what I think is a lower rate than their usual, and they bill me at irregular intervals rather than every time they come.

The person E & Jo use (and that we also use) has her own cleaning equipment. The only thing they want you to have is the cleaning supplies. We usually keep a variety of things like carpet powder (if you even have carpets or rugs), Windex, tile cleaner, 409, paper towels, etc. She does a great job for a pretty reasonable rate.
