Hi-- I'm a spoiled New Yorker moving to Davis Sq. area in Dec. Not sure I can live without my corner cleaners. Can one get laundry picked up and delivered in Cambridge/Somerville?

I don't know the answer to your question because I only have my clothing cleaned rarely, but I know that anywhere I've lived around here I can't walk to the subway without passing a cleaners.

I vaguely recall that the chain Zoots delivers laundry? Or maybe they just have a drop off box?

Not really, we still dress in uncured animal hides up here and just lick them clean once a year.

There's a laundromat in Teele Sq. that does laundry and advertises free pick-up and delivery on their window. I don't know how far they go, though. Sorry I don't know their exact name, maybe someone else will know.

It's the cleverly-named Teele Square Laundromat. (Note: they're also a tiny bit cheaper than the little blue laundromat a few blocks further up, but it's not as nice. The dryers get 8 minutes on a quarter, though, instead of 6.)

Zoots (in Porter and all over Boston) will deliver, and they're pretty good (so I've heard).
