Speaking of porn and chicken...

Is there any place in Central Square that serves a better chicken korma than the one I can get at Punjab in Arlington center? Neither of the Davis Square Indian joints worked out.

Ditto that. They deliver, but I'm not sure how far away.

It's now a Thai/kinda pan-Asian place called It Rains Fishes.

That must sound really beautiful and poetic in Thai. At least, I sure hope it does.

I was going to suggest this. I had their Korma earlier this week.

See, I think Passage to India's chicken korma tastes weird. Not necessarily, *bad*, but different from how I expect chicken korma to taste. But everyone else apparently likes it, so maybe *I'm* the one who's weird. But we already knew that.

Also, there's a place in Inman that's really yummy, but I can't remember the name of it at the moment. Punjabi Dhaba, maybe? [livejournal.com profile] prosicated took me there once. But it was a long time ago, so I'm not even sure if I had korma. But if korma is on a menu, I tend to order it, so I can only assume.

No, it's on Hampshire. On the left, just before the main traffic light in Inman, if you're coming from Porter. It sit in front of it all the time, when I'm waiting at that light. Which you'd think would help me remember the name a little better, but apparently not.

The place is set up like a fast-food Indian restaurant... there's seating, but you order your food at the counter, and get it on a tray and head upstairs to eat. But despite it's dubious appearance, it's *really* good. We should probably double-check with [livejournal.com profile] prosicated though, to make sure the restaurant at the location I just described really is the place she took me that time. Because she took me there long before I lived in Cambridge, and had reason to drive through Inman Square. It was only later (while sitting at the light) that I went, "Hey, I think that's the place Meg took me to."

Punjabi Dhaba's the one

You've just described Punjabi Dhaba (both interior and location) to a T. I'm not a huge fan of khorma, but I love Punjabi Dhaba, and Punjab in Arlington Center, and Punjabi cuisine in general
