bridesmaid's dress alteration

i feel like this has been asked before, but i can't find it.

i need to get a bridesmaid's dress altered near davis. i have gotten simple alterations done by eleni, but wasn't sure how she fared in the formal dress area (she doesn't come off as super fashionable but i could be wrong).

also, if you can approximate how long and cost, that'd be great.

thanks, all- i will probably take it to eleni then. i just wanted to make sure b/c i have no idea how this dress is supposed to fit me so i'm relying on an expert to make it somehow look good.

do you remember by any chance how long it took her?

i'll be out of the country in june and the wedding is july 21ist, so i'm wondering if i can wait and three weeks would be enough, or should try to go in next week...
