A sound of thunder

davis_squareIt's about 5:15pm and I'm in Porter Square. There was what just sounded like two cracks of thunder (about five minutes apart) -- out of a clear blue sky.
Did anybody actually in Davis Square at the moment also hear these?
Update: Found the storm. It's directly over the building I'm in and the back parking lot. Out the front windows, it's beautiful and sunny. Out the back, it looks like incipient Armageddon. It's like we have our very own thundercloud teathered to the roof.

Date: 2007-06-21 09:23 pm (UTC)"At 501 PM EDT...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm developing with the potential to produce wind gusts to 40 mph and small hail 3 miles northwest of Bedford...or about 9 miles south of Lowell...moving southeast at 25 mph. The thunderstorm will be near...Arlington...Winchester...Belmont and Woburn around 510 PM Medford...Somerville...Malden and Cambridge around 520 PM Charlestown and East Boston around 530 PM."
