Bikes not Bombs?
Jul. 2nd, 2007 09:25 pmThis doesn't seem to have come up recently so I thought I would ask. My bike got stolen while I was at work today. Sob story yes, but it was probably a bit to much bike for me anyway and I'm not terribly surprised it got stolen.
I'd like to get another bike that is a bit more appropriate to what I'm going to do with it. Mainly 1) daily commute (~8miles) and 2) bike the Minuteman 1-2 times a week. I'd also like something I'm not overly concerned with getting stolen so a used bike is preferable to a new bike. I was wondering if anyone had experience with Bikes not Bombs or could recommend another good place to get used bikes in the area? Bonus points for intro reasonably priced bike maintenance classes.
