Bread & Butter Konvenience [sic] for sale

The Alewife newspaper online reports that the Bread & Butter Konvenience [sic] store, at Mass. Ave. and Day Street, is for sale. Whether it would remain such a store after being sold, I don't know.

I visit the store occasionally, but find it much less well-stocked than the White Hen Pantry that preceded it. So if it goes away in its current form, I won't consider it a huge loss.

Ah, it's been renamed Komrad's by me and my friends. Which then degraded to the People's Glorious Food Redistribution Center... So yeah. We get amused very easily.
