Land Surveyer?

I need to have the borders of my lot surveyed by a land surveyor.

What's the problem? Your local assessor's office would have this information in their property books.

They just rough outlines of properties, not exact coordinates. You need to know exactly where your property lines are if you want to build something like a fence.
