Do we really need more burrito's and taco's? Couldn't something more fun and maybe useful have bought that space?
now I wont be able to get last minute halloween stuff....

I like Trader Joe's too, but when people wish for one in Davis, I always point out that folks usually complain about chains moving in and small businesses being pushed out of the square in the same sentence as 'I wish there was a Trader Joe's' - and that if TJ's (a chain, though a decent one) opened in Davis, I am sure it would be a lot harder for places like McKinnon's, Farmer's Bounty, and Sessa's to keep paying their rent. And if all of those storefronts went empty, I don't want to imagine the 3 other burrito places that might open up!
