Longer Wednesday Library Hours

The West Branch of the Somerville Library (on College Ave just outside Davis) is now open for the whole day on Wednesdays:

Mon 10:00 AM 9:00 PM
Tues 10:00 AM 6:00 PM
Wed 10:00 AM 6:00 PM
Thur 10:00 AM 9:00 PM
Fri 2:00 PM 6:00 PM

At least the main branch on Highland Ave has weekend hours -- 9am-5pm on Saturdays and 1pm-5pm on Sundays.

Alas, no. If you think the hours are too short I recommend you contact the Mayor's office and ask him to increase the library budget. Or consider joining the friends of the library.

That's great, but could have used a little more realistic evening hours. I don't leave work until 6 or later and you have to return DVDs when the branch is open.

They're open until 9pm on Mondays and Thursdays.

Some libraries (not ours) have separate drop boxes for DVDs; maybe that would be a good thing to request.
