appliances?

Does anyone know of good places to get household appliances in this area? (Driving distance is fine.)

I'm specifically interested in looking into apartment-sized/mini versions of a few things, including countertop dishwashers and small freezers.

I know about Tags, Home Depot, and BestBuy.

Anyone have any other suggestions for places that might have this sort of thing?

(I know there are various online sources, and I may end up doing that if I do decide to buy, but I'd really like to see some of these things in person first.)

There's a Target in Everett...I think it's called the Gateway Shopping Plaza. There's a Best Buy, a new one, close to there too. Kill two birds with one stone if need be.

True. I never think of that one because I don't care for it as much as the one in Everett.

Target does not tend to have the best selection of appliances, if any at all. You're better off at Sears or a similar store. That being said, the Somerville Target is great--smaller than the Everett one, but still has everything you need and not as crowded.

Best Buy is horrible, and I refuse to give them my business after an awful experience at the Watertown store two years ago.
